Broad Street Station - Richmond, VA - This masterfully executed watercolor is my all-time favorite work by well-known railroad artist Tony Howe. It depicts Atlantic Coast Line steam and diesel power, along with a Norfolk & Western J class streamlined steam engine. This truly is one of Tony's greatest pieces in my opinion.
Painting size: 15" x 22"
Framed size: 24.5" x 31.5"
Medium: Acrylic and Watercolor
Price: $1,900

Rock Island Choctaw Rockette - Tony skillfully captures the spirit of Rock Island streamlined service between Memphis and Amarillo in its waning days before it was relegated to a Budd RDC car in 1953. In this wonderful creation we see a TA powered version of the Choctaw Rockette. If you're a Rock Island fan, this piece needs to be in your collection.
Painting size: 12" x 18"
Framed size: 20" x 26"
Medium: Acrylic and Watercolor
Price: $1,500

Santa Fe Texas Chief - In this extraordinary piece, Tony Howe portraits a northbound E6-powered Texas Chief running along the Washita River at "Crusher" in southern Oklahoma's Arbuckle Mountains between Gene Autry and Dougherty on its run between Galveston and Chicago.
Painting size: 14" x 23"
Framed size: 24.5" x 31.5"
Medium: Acrylic and Watercolor
Price: $1,600

Milwaukee Road Olympian E-22-23 in Seattle, WA - This is the smallest Tony Howe painting offered here, but it is big on detail. The Olympian is portrayed at Seattle's King Street Station.

Framed size: 15.5" x 20"
Medium: Acrylic and Watercolor

The Way of The Zephyr - The CB&Q's Denver Zephyr with E5A/B power dashes by a GP7 in the classic black-and-gray scheme as it speeds across the prairie.

The Memphis Belles - Steam is rapidly giving way to the diesel in this 1950s era scene set at Memphis's Union Station. Like racehorses lined up at the gate, we see Southern, Missouri Pacific, Cotton Belt (SSW), NC&StL and L&N trains awaiting their scheduled departure times.

Framed size: 20" x 36"
Medium: Acrylic and Watercolor
