Thank you for visiting
the former official site of Model Railroading
magazine. Publication of Model Railroading ended with the August 2006
issue, and its publisher, Highlands Station, Inc., ceased operation and was
dissolved in early 2007. Subscriptions submitted after October 10, 2006, either
through this site or by mail, phone or fax, were not processed. After that date
no checks were cashed nor where any charges made to customer credit cards for
any subscription orders.
On November 22, 2006, an agreement was reached with Carstens Publications,
publisher of Railroad Model Craftsman and Railfan & Railroad
magazines, to fulfill, on an issue-per-issue basis, the unfulfilled
subscriptions of then-current subscribers to Model Railroading. We deeply
appreciated Carstens’ willingness to do this for our readers. Subscribers who
had subscriptions in place as of October 10, 2006, started receiving their
replacement subscription issues beginning with the March 2007 issue of
Railroad Model Craftsman. MRG subscribers who were also RMC
subscribers had their subscriptions to RMC extended. All questions

Visitors seeking back issues, bound volumes and CD versions of Model

Randy Lee, former Editor/Publisher of Model Railroading, has formed a new
business, Highlands Station, LLC, which is offering these products to model
railroaders, with plans to provide addition services and products in the future.
