What is Forest Floor? The Forest Floor line is unique to Timberline Scenery. It's available in four colors. The Forest Floor line is the most realistic ground cover on the market. It comes packaged in two sizes, our standard 20 cubic inch bag and the new 60 cubic inch Bulk Bag. Both are re-sealable.

How is Forest Floor different? It's not just ground cover, but a blend of ground covers to add depth to the overall look. Then we add a larger accent ground cover, which once applied, stands out, making it look like bushes. Finally we add real wood deadfall. Not just any wood will do. Few miniature branches in nature have the character we need to produce this product. Look closely at the detail of the wood. If you've ever hiked in the high country, you know how the forest floor is littered with it. You can hardly take a step without stepping on a branch, or negotiating your way over a fallen limb or tree stump. Since Timberline Scenery introduced the Forest Floor line, it has surpassed all of their sales expectations.

Look closely at the photo below. The tree stumps have rings, bark and saw marks from where they were cut down. Today, modelers are demanding realism. As far as ground covers go, Forest Floor is the hallmark.
