FOREIGN SHIPPING CHARGES
Due to the new US Postal Service (USPS) rates that went into effect on May 12,
2008, foreign shipping rates have increased. Also, in May 2007, the USPS eliminated surface
shipments and M-bag discounts for printed matter that we have used in the past.
Effective immediately, all foreign shipping charges will be billed at cost; no
additional handling charges will be applied. Insurance is recommended (must be
requested) as uninsured shipments are sent at buyer's risk; insurance fees will
also be billed at cost. To give you an idea of what to expect, the following
guidelines will be helpful:
CANADA & MEXICO
Priority Mail® Flat Rate Envelope: $9.95 —
This envelope will hold up to four CDs, six magazines or four softbound books. Estimated delivery time is 6-10 days.
Priority Mail® Flat Rate Box: $23.95 —
This box will hold up to 36 magazines, 24 softbound books or three bound
volumes. Estimated delivery time is 6-10 days.
Priority Mail® International — For larger orders, this service is based on weight. Estimated delivery time is 6-10 days. For reference purposes, an average magazine weights about 8 oz., and an average softbound book about 13 oz. Here are some sample shipping charges based on weight:
20 lbs $46.10
30 lbs $62.10
40 lbs $78.10
Insurance is recommended for a small extra fee and must be requested in the Comments section when an order is placed. Shipments sent uninsured are done so at the buyer's risk as we can not be responsible for damage incurred during shipping.
MOST (130) OTHER COUNTRIES

Rates to the Middle East, Asia and Africa are higher, and rates to Central and South America fall in between. It will generally be less expensive to ship multiple flat rate boxes rather than a single large box so this will be done unless otherwise requested by the customer.
