1979 to 1983 Issues

Historical Notes: In 1979, Model Railroading became the successor magazine to
Great World of Model Railroading when it changed publishers and moved from California
to Denver, Colorado. (The new publisher, Eastwood Printing Co., formed Rocky Mountain
Publishing, Co., a wholly owned subsidiary, to publish the magazine.) This transition
resulted in the Winter 1979 issue of Great World being re-released as the Spring 1980
issue of MRG. It was the same magazine, but had a sticker with the new publisher's
information on the Table of Contents page.
All 1979 to 1983 issues are Sold Out, but may be available from
