John Murphy has decided to offer a limited edition giclée print of this masterpiece.
Orders are now being accepted and will be numbered as issued (first order will receive
1/200, second 2/200, etc.) Pennsylvania Railroad's K-4s No. 5499 is representative of the
last group of these locomotives that were constructed in 1928 at the Pennsy's famous
Juniata Shops in Altoona, Pennsylvania. It is one of the most famous of the 4-6-2
Pacific types to run on any American railroad. Pennsylvania RR Technical &
Historical Society members may remember seeing this painting featured in
the Autumn 1997 (Vol 30, No. 3) issue of The Keystone magazine.
