My younger brother attended the University of Illinois in Champaign, and that was my excuse to make visits there to
see him and to watch the action on the Illinois Central mainline. Back in those days, passenger trains were frequent,
occasionally running in sections. The trains I saw were spotless and looked resplendant in brown and orange for the
entire length of the train. The scene is The City approaching the station from the north, passing under a
signal bridge.
