1949. At far left is former Mobile & Ohio 2-8-2 #475. Next to it is motor car #2500, waiting for its assigned run on
train Nos. 11 and 12, the daily run to Jackson, Tennessee. On the right are two Alco FA-1s, the main road power used
by the GM&O on the South End after dieselization.
