The Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad is a result of the merging and combining of several railroads. The company’s heritage is reflected in its current paint scheme. One can recognize the colors and designs of past railroads in this modern application. Leading the way on this BNSF freight is a new General Motors SD70MAC locomotive followed by two General Electric Dash 9-44CWs. The BNSF Railroad demonstrates how its heritage is something of which it is proud.
