SP Cab Forward on Donner Pass This open edition, 12¼" x 22" print by noted aviation and railroad artist William Gardoski is printed on heavy gloss stock. It depicts Southern Pacific's AC-5 cab forward 4011 working its way down Donner Pass. Even with its 116,900 lbs. of tractive effort, the 2.5% grades on Donner still provided a challenge...both up and down grade...for these massive locomotives. On this frosty October day in the late '40s, the engineer has opted for a little fresh air. Print is shipped rolled in a strong cardboard tube. When ordered at the same time, additional prints by Gardoski are shipped at no extra charge.
