This exquisite work by noted railroad artist John Winfield features some of the
locomotives and trains that made history on the Union Pacific. Included are a Big Boy,
Challenger, Turbine, M-10000, DD40X and one of UP's famous City trains powered by
E8/9s streaking through Green River, Wyoming, with Castle Rock in the background.
I commissioned this work, and it was seen each month by Model Railroading
readers when they visited my Editorial page.
