Shortly before Model Railroading ceased publication, I introduced an online sample of the magazine for the benefit of modelers who didn't have the opportunity to thumb through the magazine at a local hobby shop. It is a PDF version of the magazine (Adobe^® Reader^® 5.0 or later required) featuring the first page of every article, complete Sandhouse, Trek Plan and other regular features and advertisements. All are linked together so you can jump from one place in the magazine to another, or go directly to an advertiser's website. Use the Adobe^® controls rather than your browser's "Back" button to navigate these pages.

Be forewarned, these are big files, so performance over the web can be slow. DSL or broadband internet access is recommended; a 56K modem can be used...but it is REALLY slow. You may also download the file directly to your computer. Each file is about 5 MB but once downloaded will allow you to access the pages quickly, and the pages are fully searchable.
